Llangadog Community Centre is at the heart of the village and hosts a wide range of events and local groups. We were established in 1973 and continue to be a vibrant centre of the community
We are a registered charity and exist to promote the well-being of the inhabitants of Llangadog and district and to provide facilities for cultural, recreational and leisure time activities.
We have a large airy hall, with a stage, a well equipped kitchen and two smaller rooms. The hall’s maximum capacity is 300 and with tables and chairs it can comfortably seat up to 250 people. (Stage 7.8mx3.4m, Main Hall 16.5mx12m, Small Hall 8.5mx6m, Meeting Room 6.4mx3.6m with annexe 3.6mx3.6m). The meeting room also has a small kitchen and its own toilets. All rooms have disabled access. There is ample car parking space.
We have a range of successful and well attended groups. The Hall can also be hired for events such as weddings, parties and charity fund raising occasions. The main hall has lighting and sound systems; both the main hall and the small hall have projection screens. Wifi is available for no charge and in addition we have alcohol, music and gambling licences.
The cost of hire is £20 per hour for the main hall and £10 per hour for the other rooms, with a 20% discount for regular bookings. There is no extra charge for use of kitchen or any other equipment or facilities.
